They say that love commits itself to all
they say sometimes that pride’s before the fall,
but in my heart, I know that he’ll walk tall
and loves it when his papa plays for him.
So, papa play guitar for me, you know what it means to me
all the things that I could be, so papa play for me,
won’t you play it one more time, you know you can make it rhyme
makes me feel that all is fine so papa play for me.
The love my mama gives me makes me strong
the way she whispers to me, I belong,
and while I wait, I know it won’t take long
so, papa play guitar for me again.
I know one day he’ll grow into a man
I know the gifts he has will make him shine,
and I’ll always hope he sees the love so far
so, papa won’t you play some more guitar.

Absolutely excellent musicianship, composition and arrangements. This is very powerfully beautiful music which reflects the story behind the piece. inverdee5764
Saw Kris in London last night - solo show, and he achieved all the moody glimmer of the albums: the complex guitar work, rich singing and even foot-power percussion. Best of all he brought his keen humour to a serious folk temple and brightened the place up no end! Highlights- Shetland wedding march, Navigators, Scapa Flow 1919 & If Wishes were Horses. andannh
Dystopia was my introduction to Talisk when the live version of it was out on youtube. Between the energy and life not just by the music itself, but the people playing it being so engrained into the songs themselves, Talisk has become a foot-stomper, and an absolute jam of a band to put on full volume. ladyoforion
